Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet

This is the Resources tab. Display Resource Usage Spreadsheet opens the timescaled grid.

What a planner means

Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is Oracle Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Activities window: View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet; or Layout Options bar → Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet; or click on the Bottom Layout toolbar. Resource Assignments window: View, Show on Top, Resource Usage Spreadsheet; or Layout Options bar → Resource Usage Spreadsheet; or click on the Top Layout toolbar. It opens the view. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object note, not Display the Resource Usage Profile, not Display the Activity Usage Spreadsheet, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Usage view.

Oracle does print a how-to titled Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Oracle does not print a menu item named Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. The menus that how-to prints are View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (Activities) and View, Show on Top, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (Resource Assignments). Do not invent View > Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet.

Oracle Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet (Professional):

  • "With the Activities window active, do one of the following:"
  • "Choose View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
  • "Click the Layout Options bar and choose Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
  • "Click on the Bottom Layout toolbar."
  • "With the Resource Assignments window active, do one of the following:"
  • "Choose View, Show on Top, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
  • "Click the Layout Options bar, then choose Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
  • "Click on the Top Layout toolbar."
  • Tip: "To hide the upper layout and display only the Resource Usage Spreadsheet in the Activities window, drag the split bar separating the upper layout from the Resource Usage Spreadsheet all the way to the top."

That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, and no toolbar button name. Do not invent those on this how-to.

The Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different object note. Leave Resource Usage Spreadsheet as the object.

Display the Resource Usage Profile is a different how-to. Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile. See Display the Resource Usage Profile.

Display roles in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different how-to. Do not collapse it onto Display.

Professional vs EPPM

Professional — Activities: View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (or Layout Options bar / Bottom Layout toolbar). Resource Assignments: View, Show on Top, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (or Layout Options bar / Top Layout toolbar). Drag the split bar to hide the upper layout in Activities. No OK / Apply on this how-to page.

EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM Resource Usage Spreadsheet command. Do not copy Professional Show on Bottom / Show on Top onto EPPM.

Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.

XER

The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RESOURCEUSAGE / RSRCUSAGE / SPREADSHEET table. Do not invent a view %T. Displaying the spreadsheet does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project can show a Resource Usage view. Do not map that as P6 Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.

Don't

  • Invent View > Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, OK, Apply, Save, Yes, or a toolbar button name.
  • Collapse this onto the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object, Display roles, or Display the Resource Usage Profile.
  • Copy Professional Show on Bottom / Show on Top onto EPPM.
  • Invent a RESOURCEUSAGE XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASKRSRC.
  • Map MSP Resource Usage as this how-to.
  • Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
