Display the Resource Usage Profile
Display the Resource Usage Profile is View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile

What a planner means
Display the Resource Usage Profile is Oracle Display the Resource Usage Profile. Activities window active. View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile; or Layout Options bar → Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile; or click on the Bottom Layout toolbar. It opens the view. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Profile object note, not Define the Resource Usage Profile, not Display the Activity Usage Profile, not Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Graph.
Oracle does print a how-to titled Display the Resource Usage Profile. Oracle does not print a menu item named Display the Resource Usage Profile. The menu that how-to prints is View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile. Do not invent View > Display the Resource Usage Profile. Do not invent View, Show on Top for this profile.
Oracle Display the Resource Usage Profile (Professional):
- "With the Activities window active, do one of the following:"
- "Click on the Bottom Layout toolbar."
- "Choose View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile."
- "Click the Layout Options bar and choose Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile."
- "The numbers on the left side of the Resource Usage Profile correspond to the vertical bars. The numbers on the right side of the Resource Usage Profile correspond to the cumulative curves (these numbers appear only if you include cumulative curves in the profile)."
- "To view a stacked histogram in the Resource Usage Profile, click the Display Options bar and select Stacked Histogram."
- "Bars and cumulative curves with negative values do not display in the profile. You can view the negative values in the profile details. Double-click on the profile to view the profile details."
- "When you print a layout which includes the Resource Usage Profile, you can choose to print the resources included in that profile in the header or footer. Where there are ten or fewer resources in the profile, the Resource IDs of all resources included in the profile are included in the footer. You may need to increase the height or width of the footer to see all the resources included in the profile. Where there are 11 or more resources in the profile, the filter selected for resources is printed instead."
That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, no Show on Top, and no toolbar button name. Do not invent those on this how-to.
The Resource Usage Profile is a different object note. The histogram. Leave Resource Usage Profile as the object.
Define the Resource Usage Profile is a different how-to. Regular vs Stacked options.
Display the Activity Usage Profile is a different how-to. Show on Bottom, Activity Usage Profile. See Display the Activity Usage Profile.
Professional vs EPPM
Professional — Activities window; View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile; or Layout Options bar → Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile; or Bottom Layout toolbar. No OK / Apply on that page.
EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM Resource Usage Profile command. Do not copy Professional Show on Bottom onto EPPM.
Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.
XER
The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RSRUSAGE / PROFILE / HISTOGRAM table. Do not invent a view %T. Displaying the profile does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project has a Resource Graph. Do not map that as P6 Display the Resource Usage Profile. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
Don't
- Invent View > Display the Resource Usage Profile, Show on Top, OK, Apply, Save, Yes, or a toolbar button name on this how-to.
- Collapse this onto the Resource Usage Profile object, Define, Activity Usage Profile, or the Resource Usage Spreadsheet.
- Copy Professional Show on Bottom onto EPPM.
- Invent an RSRUSAGE XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASK dates.
- Map MSP Resource Graph as this how-to.
- Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
