What a planner means

Hide all curtain attachments in the Gantt Chart is Oracle Hide all curtain attachments in the Gantt Chart. Activities window. Layout Options bar → Attachments, Curtain, Hide All. Hide All is only available if at least one curtain is currently displayed. Hide does not delete. If you save the layout after hiding, the attachments stay available for display. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Curtain object note, not Hide a curtain attachment (one curtain), not Display all curtain attachments, not Delete a curtain attachment, not Add a curtain attachment, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft hide highlight.

Oracle does print a how-to titled Hide all curtain attachments in the Gantt Chart. Oracle does not print a menu item named Hide all curtain attachments. The path that how-to prints is Layout Options bar → Attachments, Curtain, Hide All. Do not invent View > Hide all curtain attachments. Do not invent View, Attachments on this how-to (that page fetched does not print View, Attachments).

Oracle Hide all curtain attachments in the Gantt Chart (Professional):

  • "In the Activities window, click the Layout Options bar and choose Attachments, Curtain, Hide All. The Hide All menu item is only available if at least one curtain attachment is currently displayed in the Gantt Chart."
  • Tip: "When you hide a curtain attachment contained in a saved layout, the attachment is not deleted from the layout. If you save the layout after hiding the attachment, the attachment is still available for display by all users who have access to the layout."

That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, no double-click, no Display checkbox, and no View, Attachments. Do not invent those on this how-to.

Hide a curtain attachment is a different how-to. Double-click one curtain; clear Display; OK. See Hide a Curtain Attachment in a Gantt Chart.

Display all curtain attachments is a different how-to. Show All, not Hide All.

Delete a curtain attachment is a different how-to. Hide is not Delete.

Curtain is a different object note. Leave Curtain Attachment as the object.

Professional vs EPPM

Professional — Activities window; Layout Options bar → Attachments, Curtain, Hide All. Only if at least one curtain is displayed. Hide does not delete. No OK / Apply on that page.

EPPM web — Oracle Working with the Activity Gantt Chart does not print Hide All. Do not copy this Professional how-to onto EPPM.

Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.

XER

The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no CURTAIN / HIDEALL / ATTACH table. Do not invent a view %T. Hiding all curtains does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project can hide date-range highlights. Do not map that as P6 Hide all curtain attachments in the Gantt Chart. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.

Don't

  • Invent View > Hide all curtain attachments, View, Attachments, OK, Apply, Save, or Yes on this how-to.
  • Treat Hide All as Delete, or collapse it onto Hide one curtain.
  • Collapse this onto the Curtain object.
  • Copy this Professional how-to onto EPPM.
  • Invent a HIDEALLCURTAIN XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASK dates.
  • Map MSP hide highlights as this how-to.
  • Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
