Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet Columns
Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns is Columns, Customize (left and middle panes)

What a planner means
Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns is Oracle Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns. Activities window: left pane Display Options bar → Columns, Customize; middle pane Display Options bar → Columns, Customize. You can pick different columns in each pane. Add or remove from Available Options / Selected Options. At least one column must remain. Change order in Selected Options. OK to update, Apply to view without closing, Default to restore default columns. Resource Assignments window: Display Options bar → Spreadsheet Fields, Customize, then the same add/remove/order steps. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object note, not Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields, not View a spreadsheet of resource overallocation across all projects, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Usage column chooser.
Oracle does print a how-to titled Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns. Oracle does not print a menu item named Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns. The path that how-to prints is Columns, Customize (Activities left/middle) or Spreadsheet Fields, Customize (Resource Assignments). Do not invent View > Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns.
Oracle Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns (Professional):
- "You can customize the columns that display in the left and middle panes of the Resource Usage Spreadsheet layout in the Activities window."
- "To update columns in the spreadsheet, click OK, or to view your changes without closing this dialog box, click Apply."
- "To restore the default columns, click Default."
- Note: "You can also customize the columns that display in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet layout in the Resource Assignments window. Click the Display Options bar, then choose Spreadsheet Fields, Customize. To customize the spreadsheet, follow steps 2 through 7."
- "In the left pane, click the Display Options bar, then choose Columns, Customize. In the middle pane, click the Display Options bar and choose Columns, Customize."
- "You can select different columns to appear in each pane."
- "To add a column to the spreadsheet, select it in the Available Options section, then click."
- "To add all available columns to the spreadsheet, click."
- "To remove a column from the spreadsheet, select it in the Selected Options section, then click."
- "To remove all current columns from the spreadsheet, click."
- "You must select at least one column to appear in the spreadsheet."
- "To change the order in which columns appear, in the Selected Options section, select a column you want to move:"
- "To move the column left, click."
- "To move the column right, click."
That how-to fetched prints OK, Apply, and Default. It does not print the transfer-button names (the add/remove/move sentences end at "click."). Do not invent arrow or double-arrow button captions.
The Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different object note. Leave Resource Usage Spreadsheet as the object.
Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields is a different how-to. Do not collapse Columns, Customize onto that page.
View a spreadsheet of resource overallocation across all projects is a different how-to. That page uses Spreadsheet Fields, Customize to add Overallocated Early/Late Units. Do not collapse this onto that note. See View a Spreadsheet of Resource Overallocation Across All Projects.
Professional vs EPPM
Professional — Activities: left/middle Display Options bar → Columns, Customize; OK / Apply / Default. Resource Assignments: Display Options bar → Spreadsheet Fields, Customize, then the add/remove/order steps.
EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM Columns, Customize dialog. Do not copy Professional Columns, Customize onto EPPM.
Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.
XER
The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RESOURCEUSAGE / RUSCOLS table. Do not invent a view %T. Customizing columns does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project can insert Resource Usage columns. Do not map that as P6 Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
Don't
- Invent View > Customize Resource Usage Spreadsheet columns, or transfer-button names this page does not print.
- Collapse this onto Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields, the overallocation spreadsheet how-to, or the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object.
- Copy Professional Columns, Customize onto EPPM.
- Invent a RUSCOLS XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASKRSRC.
- Map MSP Resource Usage columns as this how-to.
- Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
