Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet Fields

Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields is right-click Spreadsheet Fields

P6 Activity Table of sample EC00515 under WBS bands.
This is the Activity Table. Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields is a timescaled grid, not these columns.

What a planner means

Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields is Oracle Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields. Right-click in the spreadsheet → Spreadsheet Fields. Add or remove from Available Options / Selected Options. At least one field must remain. Change order in Selected Options. OK to update, Apply to view without closing, Default to restore default fields. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Activity Usage Spreadsheet object note, not Customize Activity Usage Spreadsheet columns, not Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Task Usage field picker.

Oracle does print a how-to titled Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields. Oracle does not print a menu item named Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields. The path that how-to prints is right-click → Spreadsheet Fields. Do not invent View > Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields.

Oracle Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields (Professional):

  • "Right-click in the spreadsheet, then choose Spreadsheet Fields."
  • "To add a field to the spreadsheet, select it in the Available Options section, then click."
  • "To add all available fields to the spreadsheet, click."
  • "To remove a field from the spreadsheet, select it in the Selected Options section, then click."
  • "To remove all current fields from the spreadsheet, click."
  • "You must select at least one field to display in the spreadsheet."
  • "To change the order in which fields display, in the Selected Options section, select a field you want to move:"
  • "To move the column left, click."
  • "To move the column right, click."
  • "To update fields in the spreadsheet, click OK, or to view your changes without closing this dialog box, click Apply."
  • "To restore the default fields, click Default."

That how-to fetched prints OK, Apply, and Default. It does not print the transfer-button names (the add/remove/move sentences end at "click.") and no named list of fields. Do not invent those on this how-to.

The Activity Usage Spreadsheet is a different object note. Leave Activity Usage Spreadsheet as the object.

Customize Activity Usage Spreadsheet columns is a different how-to. View, Columns on the left pane. Do not collapse Spreadsheet Fields onto that page. See Customize Activity Usage Spreadsheet Columns.

Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields is a different how-to. Right-click Spreadsheet Fields; predefined or Customize. Do not collapse this onto that note. See Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet Fields.

Professional vs EPPM

Professional — right-click Spreadsheet Fields; Available Options / Selected Options; OK / Apply / Default.

EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM Spreadsheet Fields dialog. Do not copy Professional Spreadsheet Fields onto EPPM.

Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.

XER

The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no ACTUSAGE / AUSFIELDS table. Do not invent a view %T. Selecting spreadsheet fields does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project can pick Task Usage fields. Do not map that as P6 Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.

Don't

  • Invent View > Select Activity Usage Spreadsheet fields, transfer-button names, or a list of field names.
  • Collapse this onto Customize Activity Usage Spreadsheet columns, Select Resource Usage Spreadsheet fields, or the Activity Usage Spreadsheet object.
  • Copy Professional Spreadsheet Fields onto EPPM.
  • Invent an AUSFIELDS XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASK.
  • Map MSP Task Usage fields as this how-to.
  • Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
