Show or Hide Overtime Information in the Resource Usage Profile
Show or hide overtime information in the Resource Usage Profile is Data tab; Show Overtime

What a planner means
Show or hide overtime information in the Resource Usage Profile is Oracle Show or hide overtime information in the Resource Usage Profile. View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile (or Layout Options bar). Right pane Display Options bar, make sure Show All Projects is not selected. Display Options bar → Resource Usage Profile Options (or right-click). Data tab. Mark or clear Show Overtime. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Profile object note, not Show or hide resource limits / overallocation / availability, not Define the Resource Usage Profile - Regular Histogram, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Graph overtime.
Oracle does print a how-to titled Show or hide overtime information in the Resource Usage Profile. Oracle does not print a menu item named Show or hide overtime information. The path that how-to prints is Show All Projects not selected, then Resource Usage Profile Options, Data tab. Do not invent View > Show or hide overtime information.
Oracle Show or hide overtime information in the Resource Usage Profile (Professional):
- "Mark or clear the Show Overtime checkbox."
- Note: "The Show Overtime checkbox displays only when you view resources for a specific project. It is not available when viewing projects across the enterprise."
- "In the Activities window, choose View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile."
- "You can also click the Layout Options bar, then choose Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Profile."
- "In the right pane of the bottom layout window, click the Display Options bar and make sure Show All Projects is not selected. A check next to Show All Projects indicates that it is selected."
- "Click the Display Options bar again and choose Resource Usage Profile Options."
- "You can also right-click in the profile and choose Resource Usage Profile Options."
- "Click the Data tab."
That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, and no Additional Data Options label. Do not invent those on this how-to.
The Resource Usage Profile is a different object note. Leave Resource Usage Profile as the object.
View a profile of resource allocation for a specific project is a different how-to. Show All Projects cleared. See View a Profile of Resource Allocation for a Specific Project.
Define the Resource Usage Profile - Regular Histogram is a different how-to. It also names Show Overtime (open projects view only). Do not collapse this onto Regular. See Define the Resource Usage Profile - Regular Histogram.
Professional vs EPPM
Professional — Show All Projects not selected; Resource Usage Profile Options, Data tab, Show Overtime. Not available when viewing across the enterprise. No OK / Apply on this how-to page.
EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM Show Overtime dialog. Do not copy Professional Data tab onto EPPM.
Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.
XER
The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RSRUSAGE / SHOWOVERTIME table. Do not invent a view %T. Toggling Show Overtime does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project can show overtime on a Resource Graph. Do not map that as P6 Show or hide overtime information. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
Don't

- Invent a SHOWOVERTIME XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASKRSRC overtime.

- Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
