What a planner means

Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram is Oracle Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram. Display the profile. Display Options bar → the Profile Options, or right-click → the Profile Options. Graph tab. In Additional Display Options, mark or clear Show Legend. You can drag the legend. Show Values shows the value of each bar. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Activity Usage Profile object note, not Define the Activity Usage Profile, not Show or hide the Gantt Chart legend, not Show or hide the profile legend (Resource Usage / Tracking siblings), not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Graph legend.

Oracle does print a how-to titled Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram. Oracle does not print a menu item named Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram. The path that how-to prints is Display Options bar → the Profile Options. Do not invent View > Show or hide the profile legend. Do not invent Activity Usage Profile Options on this how-to (that page prints the Profile Options).

Oracle Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram (Professional):

  • "Display the profile, then click the Display Options bar in the profile and choose the Profile Options. You can also right-click in the profile to choose the Profile Options."
  • "Click the Graph tab."
  • "In the Additional Display Options section, mark or clear the Show Legend checkbox."
  • "You can move the profile legend within the profile. Move the mouse over the legend, click and hold the mouse button, and drag the legend."
  • "As well as a legend, you can select the Show Values option to display the value of each bar in the histogram."

That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, no View menu, and no Activity Usage Profile Options. Do not invent those on this how-to.

The Activity Usage Profile is a different object note. Leave Activity Usage Profile as the object.

Define the Activity Usage Profile is a different how-to. Data and Graph; Apply or OK. See Define the Activity Usage Profile.

Show or hide the Gantt Chart legend is a different how-to. View, Barchart Options; General; Show Legend. Leave Show Legend as that object.

Show or hide the profile legend / Show or hide a profile legend are different titles. Resource Usage Profile TOC and Tracking Profile Settings pages. Do not collapse them onto this histogram how-to.

Professional vs EPPM

Professional — Display the profile; Display Options bar / right-click → the Profile Options; Graph; mark or clear Show Legend; drag the legend; Show Values. No OK / Apply printed on that page.

EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM histogram legend command. Do not copy Professional Profile Options onto EPPM.

Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.

XER

The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no PROFILELEGEND / SHOWLEGEND table. Do not invent a view %T. Toggling the profile legend does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project can show a Resource Graph legend. Do not map that as P6 Show or hide the profile legend in the histogram. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.

Don't

  • Invent View > Show or hide the profile legend, Activity Usage Profile Options, OK, Apply, Save, or Yes on this how-to.
  • Collapse this onto Define the Activity Usage Profile, the Gantt Show Legend object, or the Resource Usage / Tracking sibling titles.
  • Copy Professional Profile Options onto EPPM.
  • Invent a PROFILELEGEND XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASK dates.
  • Map MSP Resource Graph legend as this how-to.
  • Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
