Select Resources or Roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet
Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is left pane click; Shift or Ctrl for more than one

What a planner means
Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is Oracle Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Left pane of the Resource Usage Spreadsheet: select the resource or role whose values you want. Shift-click a contiguous block. Ctrl-click noncontiguous resources or roles. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object note, not Display roles in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, not Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Usage row selection.
Oracle does print a how-to titled Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Oracle does not print a menu item named Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. The path that how-to prints is the left pane. Do not invent View > Select resources or roles.
Oracle Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet (Professional):
- "In the left pane of the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, select the resource or role for which you want to view values."
- Tip: "You can display data for multiple resources or roles in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. To select a block of contiguous resources or roles, click the first resource or role you want to display, then hold down the Shift key while clicking the last resource or role you want to display. To select noncontiguous resources or roles, press and hold the Ctrl key while clicking the various resources or roles whose values you want to display."
That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, no Yes, no View menu, no By Role, and no Show All Projects. Do not invent those on this how-to.
The Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different object note. Leave Resource Usage Spreadsheet as the object.
Display roles in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different how-to. Select View, By Role. See Display Roles in the Resource Usage Spreadsheet.
Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different how-to. Show on Bottom / Show on Top. See Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet.
Professional vs EPPM
Professional — left pane: click a resource or role; Shift for a contiguous block; Ctrl for noncontiguous. No OK / Apply on this how-to page.
EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM left-pane multi-select. Do not copy Professional Shift/Ctrl onto EPPM.
Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.
XER
The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RESOURCEUSAGE / SELECTRSRC table. Do not invent a view %T. Selecting a left-pane row does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project can select Resource Usage rows. Do not map that as P6 Select resources or roles for the Resource Usage Spreadsheet. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
Don't
- Invent View > Select resources or roles, OK, Apply, Save, or Yes.
- Collapse this onto Display roles, Display the spreadsheet, or the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object.
- Copy Professional Shift/Ctrl onto EPPM.
- Invent a SELECTRSRC XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from RSRC / ROLES.
- Map MSP Resource Usage row selection as this how-to.
- Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
