View a Spreadsheet of Resource Allocation for a Specific Project
View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project is Show All Projects cleared

What a planner means
View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project is Oracle View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project. Open one or more projects. Activities window: View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (or Layout Options bar → Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet); right pane Display Options bar, make sure Show All Projects is not selected; left pane Select View, By Resource or By Role. Resource Assignments window: View, Resource Usage Spreadsheet (or Display Options bar → Resource Usage Spreadsheet). It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object note, not Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, not View a spreadsheet of resource allocation across all projects, not View a profile of resource allocation for a specific project, not TASKPRED, not EPPM copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft Resource Usage.
Oracle does print a how-to titled View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project. Oracle does not print a menu item named View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project. The paths that how-to prints are Resource Assignments View, Resource Usage Spreadsheet, and Activities Show on Bottom with Show All Projects not selected. Do not invent View > View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project.
Oracle View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project (Professional):
- "In the Resource Assignments window, choose View, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
- "You can also click the Display Options bar, then choose Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
- "Open one or more projects for which you want to view a resource spreadsheet."
- "In the Activities window, choose View, Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
- "You can also click the Layout Options bar, then choose Show on Bottom, Resource Usage Spreadsheet."
- "In the right pane of the Activity window's bottom layout, click the Display Options bar and make sure that Show All Projects is not selected."
- "To view resource allocation by resource, click the Display Options bar in the left pane of the bottom layout window, then choose Select View, By Resource."
- "To view resource allocation by role, click the Display Options bar in the left pane of the bottom layout window, then choose Select View, By Role."
- "Dashes display in the cells of summary rows if your selection contains a mixture of labor/ nonlabor and material resources."
That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Apply, no Save, and no Yes. Do not invent those on this how-to. Oracle prints Activities window and Activity window's on the same page. Do not pick one as the only real name.
The Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different object note. Leave Resource Usage Spreadsheet as the object.
View a spreadsheet of resource allocation across all projects is a different how-to. Show All Projects selected. Do not collapse this onto that page. See View a Spreadsheet of Resource Allocation Across All Projects.
Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet is a different how-to. Show on Bottom / Show on Top. See Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet.
View a profile of resource allocation for a specific project is a different how-to. Resource Usage Profile. Do not collapse this onto the profile notes. See View a Profile of Resource Allocation for a Specific Project.
Professional vs EPPM
Professional — open one or more projects; Activities Show on Bottom, Show All Projects not selected, By Resource or By Role; Resource Assignments View, Resource Usage Spreadsheet. No OK / Apply on this how-to page.
EPPM web — the Professional how-to page is the source for this note. Do not invent an EPPM specific-project spreadsheet control. Do not copy Professional Display Options bar onto EPPM.
Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.
XER
The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no RESOURCEUSAGE / OPENPROJECTS table. Do not invent a view %T. Clearing Show All Projects does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project can show Resource Usage for the open file. Do not map that as P6 View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
Don't
- Invent View > View a spreadsheet of resource allocation for a specific project, OK, Apply, Save, or Yes.
- Collapse this onto the all-projects spreadsheet how-to, Display the Resource Usage Spreadsheet, the RUP all/specific profile notes, or the Resource Usage Spreadsheet object.
- Copy Professional Show All Projects onto EPPM.
- Invent an OPENPROJECTS XER table, or reconstruct the how-to from TASKRSRC.
- Map MSP Resource Usage as this how-to.
- Claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
