Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout is Oracle Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout. View, Bars; or Layout Options bar → Bars. Copy From. Select the layout. Apply to view the Gantt Chart settings. Open to apply them and close the dialog. It is a how-to. It is not stored as its own table. It does not create, edit, or delete a relationship. It is not Add a bar to the Gantt Chart, not Change a bar in the Gantt Chart, not Open a layout, not Save a layout, not Define Activity Table columns Copy From, not Apply Activity Network settings from another layout, not the Gantt bars object note, not Display the Gantt Chart, not TASKPRED, not EPPM Configuring Activity View Gantt Chart Bars / Configuring Activity Views copied onto Professional, and not Microsoft copy bar styles.

Oracle does print a how-to titled Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout. Oracle does not print a menu item named Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout. The menu that how-to prints is View, Bars. Do not invent View > Apply Gantt Chart settings.

Oracle Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout (Professional):

  • "Choose View, Bars. You can also click the Layout Options bar and choose Bars."
  • "Click Copy From."
  • "Select the layout with the Gantt Chart settings you want to apply."
  • "To view the Gantt Chart settings, click Apply."
  • "To apply the selected layout's Gantt Chart settings and close the dialog box, click Open."

That how-to fetched prints no OK, no Save, no Default, no Add, no Display, no Name, no Timescale column, no Filter column, and no Bar Style / Settings / Labels steps. Do not invent those on this how-to.

Add a bar / Change a bar are different how-tos. They edit one bar in the Bars dialog. This how-to copies settings from another layout. See Add a Bar to the Gantt Chart and Change a Bar in the Gantt Chart.

Define Activity Table columns Copy From is a different how-to. That Copy From copies column display format, not Gantt Chart settings. See Define Activity Table Columns.

Gantt bars is a different object note. The Bars dialog as layout settings. See Gantt Bars Are Layout Bar Definitions, Not an XER Table.

Professional vs EPPM

Professional — View, Bars / Layout Options bar → Bars; Copy From; select a layout; Apply or Open. No Save on that page.

EPPM web — Oracle Configuring Activity View Gantt Chart Bars and Configuring Activity Views fetched print Customize View / Manage Views / Bars tab / Apply or Save. Those pages fetched do not print Copy From or Open for Gantt Chart settings. Do not invent an EPPM Copy From. Do not copy Professional Copy From / Open onto EPPM.

Primavera Cloud is a different product. Do not copy it here.

XER

The how-to is not an XER table. Oracle’s project XER map TOC has no COPYFROM / APPLYGANTT / LAYOUTCOPY / GANTTCOPY table. Do not invent a view %T. Copying bar settings does not write TASK. Layouts travel as .plf. A Viewer cannot reconstruct that the planner used this how-to.

Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project can copy bar styles between views. Do not map that as P6 Apply Gantt Chart settings from another layout. Do not claim MPXJ writes a real MPP.
